Chi Gwang and Young Goon find out that Son Byung Gil has kidnapped Chairman Kim’s child through Han Tae Joo. Now, they are trying to find the child before it is too late. After successfully rescuing a child and showing the potential corruption within the police force, the Corruption Investigation Team is established. The organ trafficking case ends bittersweet as Prosecutor Lee dies and Chi Gwang hands over the case to Hae Ryong. All of a sudden, Kim Jae Myung asks his son, Young Goon, to visit. Tae Joo goes against Chi Gwang’s plan and helps the chairman of Muil to get a favor. As soon as the chairman doesn’t give what she demanded, she takes the more favorable side. Six bodies are found at a park. All of them were buried with their thumbs cut off except for one body. Although the bodies have been decomposed, Chi Gwang manages to identify the bodies and the investigation gains its momentum.
