Episode 1: Gank Your Heart Episode 1
Ji Xiang Kong, the strategist for the professional e-game team, Legends, finds himself in a predicament when Gu Fang, the team captain, struggles with keeping up in the game. Having a chance of winning the world championship, he begs the sponsors and coach to change tactics and protect Gu Fang, but they refuse, ending in shocking consequences. Meanwhile, Qiu Ying, an aspiring reporter, spends precious money to make it to Vancouver to see them play and live stream it for the online newspaper she works for. Late for the competition and struggling to keep up with what is happening, she has to face criticism from her boss. Episode 2: Gank Your Heart Episode 2
Qiu Ying stages a car accident to approach Ji Xiang Kong for an interview with Gu Fang. However, Ji Xiang Kong sees through her act and drops her off at the wrong place. Eventually, Qiu Ying makes her way to the bar where team Legends is mourning their loss. She overhears Gu Fang's role in Legends' defeat. As the Legends are leaving, a stranger approaches Qiu Ying, but Ji Xiang Kong protects her. Ji Xiang Kong then confronts her about following Gu Fang, but Qiu Ying explains that it is for her work. She leaves her number with him and departs. As Ji Xiang Kong prepares to leave, he finds Qiu Ying's dropped necklace on the car. Later, due to the cancellation of the Legends' fan meet and greet, Qiu Ying is forced to live stream by her boss. This attracts some viewers, and Qiu Ying's boss decides to seize the opportunity to broadcast the video Qiu Ying secretly took of Ji Xiang Kong and Gu Fang discussing the team's loss. Ji Xiang Kong sees this and decides to reprimand her by revealing the location of her necklace before hanging up the call. While Yi Yi fins a new job at an E-Sports magazine. Qiu Ying and Xiang Kong play a broadcasted game against Qiao Xin and Pei Xi, one of the top players of the new generation. An unfortunate incident makes Xiang Kong leave the game early, leaving Qiu Ying on her own. Xiang Kong bets everything on the upcoming competition.

Team VNC defeats Team Dragon and advances in the competition. The fight between Team Legends and Team Newland is starting. Yi Yi and Qiu Ying enter Gu Fang's retirement ceremony in disguise.

The founding team and Xiang Kong have a retirement gathering of their own and think about their past. CONQUER releases its new heroes and Team Legends continue their training. To appease their manager, Xiang Kong agrees to participate in promotional activities, leading to another unexpected encounter with Qiu Ying. Qiu Ying faces backlash for a video and Xiang Kong decides to help her out.

Pei Xi decides to only join Team Legends if he becomes team captain instead of Xiang Kong and faces differences with his team mates over training. Yan Yan gets a tempting but risky proposal by Qiao Xin. A fake video is about to endanger Xiang Kong and Qiu Ying's careers.
Episode 9: Gank Your Heart Episode 9
Qiu Ying is being sued by Team Legend and faces financial problems, leading to a fight with her estranged family. Xiang Kong, Yi Xuan and Ze Yi are suspicious of manager Zhao's motives and try to contact Jeffrey to clear up the situation. Qiu Ying gets into a heated situation with manager Zhao.

Xiang Kong takes care of a drunk Qiu Ying. They have their first settlement meeting with their lawyers with unexpected results. Facing Xiang Kong's contract cancellation, the team goes on a desperate search for Jeffrey and the real video footage to clear up the fake video.

After the press conference, Xiang Kong asks out Qiu Ying for dinner and they finally clear up all the misunderstandings. Yi Yi and Yi Xuan secretly follow them on their "date". Qiu Ying decides to go after a new dream and Yi Yi takes on more responsibility at her new job.

With the goal of improving her server ranking, Qiu Ying continuously plays the game and finds two very different mentors in Pei Xi and Xiang Kong. While Qiu Ying and Xiang Kong grow closer, Huo Yao faces a big decision for his future career. The beta competition between Team VNG and Team Legends starts.

The match between Team VNG and Team Legends ends with the Legend's loss. Xiang Kong takes the fall for the loss and leaves the team while Pei Xi finalizes his contract with manager Zhao, not knowing Ji Xiang Kong left. Qiu Ying tries to console Xiang Kong.

Qiu Ying and Xiang Kong spend more time together and their dreams for the future become even more resolute. While Pei Xi faces some backlash from his old as well as his new Legend team mates, Xiang Kong has to find a new team who is willing to contract him.

Xiang Kong signs with Team VNG while Yi Yi and Qiu Ying have an interview with one of their long-term members. Qiu Ying is challenged by the number one player in the Dream Traveller internet café and gets a new job. Qiu Ying starts wondering about her true feelings toward Xiang Kong.

Xiang Kong and Pei Xi have to deal with the resistance of their new team mates. Mi Ya returns to get back together with Xiang Kong. After getting reprimanded by Luo Tian, Qiu Ying has another fallout with her worried brother. Qiu Ying and Xiang Kong share an intimate moment while trying to motivate each other. The Rising Star commentator competition finals start.
Episode 22: Gank Your Heart Episode 22
Qiu Ying wins the Rising Star competition and becomes the new intern commentator for GDV but their happy celebrations are cut short when Qiu Ying's brother Xia Ling gets into a car accident.
Episode 23: Gank Your Heart Episode 23
While Qiu Ying is adjusting to her new position at GDV, Xia Ling faces unfortunate news regarding his basketball career. Qi Yue continues being arrogant and even lies to get out of skipping training. At Shu Wen's birthday party, Li Gan proposes to her in front of Ze Yi. Pei Xi tries to get to know Xiang Kong's tactics better so they can plan for the competition.

Mi Ya returns and starts advertising with the VNG team. Just when Xiang Kong plans on confessing to Qiu Ying, she finds out about his connection to Mi Ya and believes he only fell for her because she is so similar to his ex-girlfriend.

Mi Ya meets with Qiu Ying to make her give up on Xiang Kong. The CONQUER competition starts with Xiang Kong and Qiu Ying at odds. While Qiu Ying gets in trouble after Qiao Xin steals her notebook, Team VNG faces trouble after Qi Yue gets drunk the day before the first match.

Team Phoenix is working on getting enough members and finally find a practice space for themselves. Sun Ye Zi and Sun Wen finally make up and talk honestly with each other. Qiu Ying finds out about her brother's condition.

Xiang Kong gets enough money to finally transfer Yi Xuan from Team Legends to Phoenix. Pei Xi starts adapting to being a team player. Team Phoenix finds its last member in an unexpected place.

Team Phoenix makes their successful debut at the spring competition. Xia Ling and Qiu Ying's parents find out about Xia Ling competing and changing his college major. Team Phoenix needs to change to riskier tactics to compete with specific opponents.
Episode 32: Gank Your Heart Episode 32
The original Team Pioneer decides to help Team Phoenix get accustomed to their new tactics. Tong Wu finally steps forward and clears the tactics leakage investigation. The additional training and the trust between the members proves successful in the finals. Mi Ya is admitted to the hospital.
Episode 33: Gank Your Heart Episode 33
Xiang Kong continues to stay with Mi Ya which puts a strain on his relationship with Qiu Ying. Both decide to follow their dreams and put their relationship second for the moment.

Mi Ya continues to hide her recovery so she can keep Xiang Kong at her side. Yi Xuan confesses his feelings for Yi Yi. The world championships are starting.
