Episode 1: Padam Padam Episode 1

Kang Chil and Gook Soo get out of prison temporarily. Ji Na hits him with her car. He's fine. They return. He ends up beating someone up but hits a warden who then dies. At court he's found guilty. He's hanged. Instead of dying, however, he reawakens in his body right after the car accident that happened previously. Then his consciousness reappears when he was showering right before the fatal fight, where he ask Gook Soo what's happening.

Episode 2: Padam Padam Episode 2

Kang Chil and Gook Soo are released from prison. Kang Chil is being followed and watched by the man who set him up in the first place, it seems. Ji Na has flashbacks of her past. We find out she blames her dad for her mother's death. Kang Chill and Ji Na often meet. Kang Chil's mother (I think it's his mother) ignores him. Gook Soo appears, starts beating up Kang Chil (which ultimately saves him). Kang Chil is getting his eyes patched up by Ji Na, whom he seems to mistake as someone else.

Episode 3: Padam Padam Episode 3

Gook Soo and Kang Chil are living at Kang Chil's mother's house, and they try to start making a life. While in prison Kang Chil learned carpentry, mechanics, electrics, etc. He's often fixing things and gets a job fixing Ji Na's animal hospital. Ji Na finds out Kang Chil was the one she runs over (Kang chil is unaware) and also find out (because of tests run) that he has liver cancer. He needs a transplant, but he's given up on that. Gook Soo disappears to find Kang Chil's son.

Episode 4: Padam Padam Episode 4

Gook Soo returns to Kang Chil with Kang Chil's son. Gook Soo want's Kang Chil to get a liver transplant, using his son. Kang Chil spends a lot of his time with Ji Na, whether it be picking out materials or carrying her out of the woods and driving her home. He hasn't been sleeping or eating well, and Ji Na tells him to eat better. She also promises to watch movies with him. Kang Chil encounters Yong Hak who 'helped' him get into jail for murder. While chasing him he is hit by a car.

Episode 5: Padam Padam Episode 5

Kang Chil getting run over by a car is all Jook Soo's dream, however Jook Soo is very worried because he says his premonitions always come true. Yong Hak tells Kang Chil that both of they're lives are safe in his hand. Ji Na is starting to warm up to her dad. Yong Hak records his and Chang Gul's conversation as more evidence against him. Ji Na finds out Kang Chil has a son and questions him. Ji Na and Kang Chul go on a train ride and to the Zoo. On the train ride back Kang Chil Kisses her.

Episode 6: Padam Padam Episode 6

Ji Na gives Kang Chil the silent treatment and cold shoulder. Ji Na says she was sympathetic but he took it too far. Markings keep appearing on Jook Soo's back-he says wings are growing in. He keeps seeing Kang Chil's death. Kang Chil receives a phone with pictures of the evidence against Chan gul. He harasses then blackmails him. Chang Gul orders to get rid of him. Kang Chil realises Ji Na's father is someone he knows. Then he gets hit by the car, like Jook Soo's premonition.

Episode 7: Padam Padam Episode 7

Kang Chil keeps returning to the phone booth, dying, and then being splashed into the water where he sees a pink shoe. He talks to Gook Soo who is unable to help him. He sees the truth about Ji Na crying for him as a child and his mother protecting him. Then he barely escapes death. His cancer seems to be healing itself. He goes tot he sauna with his family and grows closer to his son. He and Ji Na eat kimbap, take a swim, and have a seemingly romantic time. He asks her out.

Episode 8: Padam Padam Episode 8

This episode is mainly focused on the the relationship development between Kang Chil and Ji Na. After he asks her out, she says that she wants a week to think. Young Cheol is jealous, though he and Kang Chil talk and fight it out. Im Jung gets into a fight at school and is blamed for the whole fight, although it's not his fault. Jook Soo's wings are really developing, although no one else can see them. Ji Na and Kang Chil eat ramen together by the fire, and eventually kiss-both willingly.

Episode 9: Padam Padam Episode 9

Kang Chil and Ji Na end up falling asleep on the bed. Yong Hak is either killed or very injured, after giving Chan Gul fake evidence. Gook Soo, Kang Chil and Im Jung confront Im Jung's 'bully'. It seems Yong Hak's dad is hiding the evidence. Kang Chil and Ji Na go on a date, but she denies it when confronted by another. She tells him she'll do the same again in the future. He's okay with that. She finds the underwear in his drawer, and packages meant for Yoon Mi Hye.

Ji Na's father finds out about the relationship between his daughter and Kang Chil and is not very happy. Lee Suk wants to take a blood test to confirm that Jung is his son - but Jung begins to realize that he doesn't want to know the results. Ji Na and Kang Chil grow closer.

Episode 14: Padam Padam Episode 14

Hyo Sook decides to see if Gook Soo is being true when he says if she kisses him he'll get wings - and finds out for herself that it's true! Ji Na starts to think out what her and Kang Chil can do. Jung tells Kang Chil about Lee Suk and him wanting a blood test - and Kang Chil tells him that no matter what he's his son and he'll be the one to take care of him. Ji Na's father has had enough and wants to see Kang Chil as he comes to see him on his own.

Episode 15: Padam Padam Episode 15

The third miracle happens as Kang Chil meets Ji Na's father and watches him get stabbed. Instead, Kang Chil winds up getting stabbed and then shot by Ji Na's father and undergoes surgery. On top of this - the cancer has spread fast in his body. Gook Soo can let out his wings anytime now.

Episode 16: Padam Padam Episode 16

The family tries to hide Kang Chil's cancer condition from him. They have a cross examination and Ji Na's father denies that he shot Kang Chil and claims it was someone else. Later on Prosecutor Park Chan Gul asks Kang Chil to go to prison for him one more time and take the blame because he only has a few months left to live. He says he won't harm his family or Ji Na if he does this. Kang Chil starts to wonder about what he should do.

Episode 17: Padam Padam Episode 17

Kang Chil gets released from the hospital and goes to spend time with Ji Na. Gook Soo tries to kill Park Chan Gul but some force prevents him from doing so and he loses his wings. Kang Chil remembers what happened and knows it wasn't Ji Na's father who shot him. Feeling like he doesn't know what else to do, he packs his things and leaves Ji Na.

Episode 18: Padam Padam Episode 18

Oh Yong Hak has regained consciousness and everyone is wondering where the evidence is to clear Kang Chil's name. He says Kang Chil knows, but Kang Chil refuses to visit him. He starts pushing everything out of his life - Ji Na, Jung, even Gook Soo.

Episode 19: Padam Padam Episode 19

Jung prepares to leave for America. Kang Chil, being stubborn, continues to push people away. After thinking about it for a while he finally comes to his senses and sees Ji Na. Then he proceeds to see Oh Yong Hak to find out where the evidence is.

Episode 20: Padam Padam Episode 20

Kang Chil spends one last vacation with his mother and goes to stay with Ji Na. She gets used to the life of taking care of him while he's sick. Gook Soo returns to take care of the mom and decides that being there is more important to him than being an angel.
