Li Xin Yue is a white-collar worker under the watchful eye of the police after she goes out of her way to buy Dear, a painting by a renowned artist. Episode 1: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 1
Chu Hong Fei puts up his famous painting "BaoBei" up for auction and it goes for $8,500,000. But there is a secret associated with the painting and Chu Hong Fei buys it back. However he only gets back a forgery because Lily has already stolen the original. Sky is in charge of security at the auction, but takes video of some drug dealers. He hides the video card in Lily's purse in order to get away.
Episode 2: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 2
Sky is hoping to get rewarded for catching the criminal, but instead is taken away by the police. He gets transferred to the anti-drug police task force. Sky is assigned to investigate Lily and how she is related to the drug dealers.

Sky shows up in Lily's apartment pretending to be the landlady's nephew trying to collect the overdue rent. Hong Fei discovers that the painting is fake. The police continue to investigate Lily and how she managed to attend the auction. Lily gets close to Kevin who happens to be Hong Fei's son.

Lily continues to connect with Kevin, while Sky continues to keep an eye on Lily. The police investigate whether the painting has been stolen. Sky follows Lily onto the ferris wheel to get her to talk.

Kevin tries to steal from his own family. Hong Fei guesses that Lily has stolen the painting. A thief breaks into Lily's place to search for the stolen painting, but Lily refuses to report it to the police. Lily gets kidnapped and Sky rushes off to save her on his own.

Lily gets fired from her job and Sky gives her a surprise to get back at her boss. Sheng Xia tries to get more views and subscribers by doing a high dive event through live broadcast. Kevin sees her broadcast and decides to invite her on his journey. Someone follows Lily and Sky helps her lose the tail, so Lily treats him to a home-cooked meal.

Lily runs off to participate in the journey to Shangrila and leave behind her debt and Sky. Sky realizes he messed up and rejoins her by pretending to be Lily's boyfriend. Lily tries to get rid of Sky at the pit stop, but Sky outsmarted her this time.

Lily tries to get rid of Sky, but Sky outsmarts her. The two pretend to be lovers during the live broadcasting. Along the route two thugs try to pretend a serious car accident to get money. Sky solves the problem with some acting skills. Then the thugs return to intimate them, with Sky solving the problem with some quick and cool fighting skills.
Episode 9: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 9
Lily visits her father's mentor and learns that Hong Fei stole her father's work. She gets into an argument trying to convince his mentor to say what Hong Fei did. Lily gets arrested for stealing and attacking the mentor. Sky is on the case while pretending to sleep and drink beer at the hotel.
Episode 10: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 10
Sky solves the case with the police and Lily is set free. The team does a live broadcast where they interview citizens about great police officers. They head to Shexian County. They enter a creepy inn with snakes and ghosts.
Episode 11: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 11
The group goes out to eat while Lily stays in the hotel. A thug ties Lily up to get her to pay the interest in her high interest loan. Sky runs off to save her again. They encounter a ghost while in the inn and Lily is too scared she ends up sleeping in Sky's room.

The group investigates the ghost from last night and find out it's a monkey. The hotel owner accuses them of killing their mythical monkey and wants a huge amount of money. The group decides to investigate under Sky's suggestion.

They find the mastermind behind the mythical monkey and help save the inn. On the way to their next destination the van breaks down.
Episode 14: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 14
The group decides to go camping since they haven't made it to their next destination. Sky goes fishing while everyone else goes to buy food. Each person cooks a dish of delicious food. Hong Fei sees the live broadcast with Lily and Kevin and hires a hitman to get rid of Lily.
Episode 15: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 15
Lily loses an important bracelet and crosses a bridge to get it. Sky tries to get her to leave, but they both fall into the river from the sabotaged bridge. The others use a rope to pull them to safety. Sky questions Lily about the incident and Lily tells him about the painting. Lily leaves the group in the hopes of protecting everyone else. The killer makes his move and Lily gets in an accident.

Lily is hospitalized after the accident. Sky takes the night watch at the hospital to protect Lily. He investigates the scene of the accident in the morning.
Episode 17: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 17
Fans of their broadcast go to the hospital to visit Lily. The hitman learns of their location and Sky helps Lily escape. Two escaped criminals are in Hunan, the area the group is heading towards in their van. But the area has spotty wifi and Sky can't get in touch with the police. The two criminals want to catch a ride with their group and Sky got out-voted when he was against the idea.
Episode 18: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 18
Sky finally gets into contact with Captain Feng only to learn the criminals are wanted felons. Sky comes up with a plan to save everyone from the two criminals. Lily finds the police to get help. Sky makes a deal with Lily that he will always protect her.
Episode 19: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 19
The group tries to earn money for their road trip by street performing. Next they try to be extras and perform stunts on the movie set.
Episode 20: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 20
Sky notices that they may have a tail. Hu Zhi Hui's car cuts them off, but they are saved by Tina. The group stays at the same hotel as Tina and her grandmother. Sky suspects that they are connected with Hu Zhi Hui. They go to a bar and get into a fight. Sky gets arrested.

Sky gets in trouble with Captain Feng for fighting. Tina is always pestering Sky. Sheng Xia goes into grandma's room and accidentally drops the box holding grandpa's ashes. While out, they run into the guys from the bar fight.
Episode 22: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 22
Grandma asks Lily to go up the mountain to spread grandpa's ashes. Sky goes along in case there is something else going on. Hu Zhi Hui starts getting close to Sheng Xia so that his henchman can search Lily's room for the painting. Tina gets hurt and Sky takes her down the mountain before heading back up. Hu Zhi Hui sees Tina and learns from her where Sky and Lily are.
Episode 23: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 23
All their memories together makes Sky realize that he has fallen in love. It makes him uncomfortable and he goes for a walk. He gets ambushed by Hu Zhi Hui and his men. He gets saved when Captain Feng sends some police to save him. Kevin goes up the mountain on his own. Sky has a new plan to deal with Hu Zhi Hui, but Captain Feng disagrees.

A mysterious man shows up who knows who Lily is, but Lily denies knowing him. On their way to Shangrila, they find out that Tina is heading there, too. Hu Zhi Hui is also following them with orders from Ouyang. The group joins a festival in Yunnan. Sky buys a special necklace for Lily. Sheng Xia's purse got stolen and they got into another fight.

They meet up with the mysterious man again and he hitches a ride with them. They finally reach their final destination at Shangrila. Lily sees the owner of the inn and leaves to live elsewhere. Sky follows Xiong into a store but he had already disappeared. Tina continues to pester Sky. Sky meets up with Officer Lamu for reinforcements.
Episode 26: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 26
Sky and Kevin both get high altitude sickness. The hitman arrives in Shangrila. Sky realizes that Hu Zhi Hui has been in touch with Sheng Xia. Sky is now watching Lily, investigating Xiong, and worrying about Hu Zhi Hui. The hitman makes his move, but is thwarted by Sky. The drug deal is going to take place tomorrow and Sky has his hands full.
Episode 27: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 27
Sky saves Tina and gets a tracking device from Lamu. Xiong is a drug dealer, but not the M that the police are looking for. Lily and Fang Fang's relationship is revealed. Hu Zhi Hui gets the painting, but finds out it's a fake. Fang Fang is kidnapped in exchange for the real painting. The group calls the police for help. The police rescue Fang Fang while Lily uses an empty painting case to catch the kidnappers.
Episode 28: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 28
Lily and Fang Fang reconcile with each other. Captain Feng approves Sky's idea to go work undercover with Hu Zhi Hui and Sky successfully joins the drug gang. Lily goes in search of her father's paintings.
Episode 29: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 29
Sky gives the necklace to Lily as a lucky charm. Captain Feng reassumes his old undercover identity to meet up with Hu Zhi Hui. Sky meets up with Captain Feng to discuss their strategy. On one of the live broadcasts, Sheng Xia tries to get Lily and Sky to kiss. Kevin stops it to announce his feelings for Lily. This causes Hong Fei to head to Shangrila to stop Lily and Kevin.

Kevin's parents show up in Shangrila. Lily confronts Hong Fei about taking credit for her father's painting. The hitman targets Lily while she's on her own. Sky learns that Lily is out on her own and goes looking for her. Lily has the real painting on her when the hitman makes his move. Sky goes after Lily while Captain Feng postpones the drug deal. Sky saves Lily in the nick of time, but both of them fall off the mountain.
Episode 31: A Journey to Meet Love Episode 31
Sky and Lily are trapped on the mountain inside a cave where rocks have blocked the entrance. The rest of the group tries to find them, but there is no signal. Sky and Lily confess their true feelings for each other. Lily tells the story of her painting. When the group finds them, the hitman also shows up.

The police investigate the hitman and who hired him. Sky is troubled by his mission and his feelings for Lily, and Captain Feng reminds him that his mission should come first. Sky proposes to Lily again and they prepare for a live broadcast traditional wedding. Sky is upset that Hu Zhi Hui still doesn't trust him. Kevin finally realizes that Lily wanted to get to Hong Fei through him.

Ouyang is worried about Hong Fei revealing things to the police. Sky goes to meet the big boss, Ouyang. Ouyang gets Sky to go to Hong Fei's house to bring back all the incriminating evidence. While there, Sky helps Lily gather some evidence as well. Sky secretly follows Lily to deliver the evidence to her. Sky finally contacts the police, but there's no good news for him.

Lily finally wins the court case with the new evidence presented. Hong Fei is also arrested for hiring a hitman to kill Lily. Kevin's mom ends up in the hospital.

Lily wants to hold an art exhibit in Shangrila of her father's work. Kevin's new situation means he is short on cash, so he decides to go work for Ouyang. Kevin gets a special USB from his mom. Lily finally runs into Sky again, but he is bullying the villagers.

Lily confronts Sky about his feelings, but he needs to put the mission first. Kevin tries to crack the USB given by his mom. Kevin joins Ouyang to investigate him. Sky tries to prevent Kevin from joining the group. Tensions brew in Ouyang's group as different parties vie for power.

Sky comes up with a plan to protect Lily's painting while putting Ouyang and Hu Zhi Hui at odds with each other. Hu Zhi Hui steals the painting and finds out it is fake. He then gives it to Ouyang to show loyalty. The real painting makes it safely to the gallery. Kevin hands over the USB with evidence to the police. Hu Zhi Hui suspects Sky of cheating him. Hu Zhi Hui starts to plan his move against Ouyang.

The police prepare to capture the drug dealers. The police have them cornered, but Hu Zhi Hui shows up and aids in their escape, then Hu Zhi Hui turns on Ouyang and kills him. Sky escapes with Hu Zhi Hui. Captain Feng comes back. Hu Zhi Hui catches Sky trying to save a girl and realizes he has been lying to him. He uses Sky as bait to get the painting from Lily.

Lily brings the painting in exchange for Sky's life. Hu Zhi Hui makes Sky do one last drug run to save Lily, but in reality sends a thug to take care of Sky. Lily learns the secret in the painting. Just as Lily is about to be killed, the police save Lily. The police use a drone to track Sky, only to see him his car getting knocked down a cliff. Lily goes to help find Sky and everyone else learns that Sky is an undercover cop.

Sky went after Hu Zhi Hui on his own. The others have the location of the account book from Kevin's dad. Hu Zhi Hui detonates a bomb to escape capture. The group has a get together. Kevin proposes to Sheng Xia. Sky plans a surprise proposal for Lily, but it ends with Lily getting kidnapped.

Sky joins the police team to save Lily. Hu Zhi Hui has attached a bomb to Lily and wants the account book in exchange for her life. Sky disarms the first bomb only to discover that there is a second bomb. Sky saves Lily once again. Kevin and Sheng Xia get marrried, and Lily and Sky send them the legendary scene with the sun and moon in the sky as their wedding gift. Sky finally learns that Captain Feng is still alive.
