Episode 1: Good Bye, My Princess Episode 1
To help encourage peace with the Li Dynasty, the king of Western Liang proposes a marriage arrangement between his daughter, Xiao Feng, and the Crown Prince of Li Dynasty. Due to political scheming, the Crown Prince is no longer favored and is sent to Western Liang to meet his betrothed. Second Prince Le Cheng Ye arrives Westlands Protection Mansion and schemes to get Li Cheng Yin eliminated by having him search for the King of the nomadic Danchi tribe. Since Xiao Feng is the granddaughter of the King Tie Da Er, Gu Jian is tasked with introducing Xiao Feng to Li Cheng Yin in hopes that she can help him find King Tie Da Er. As the Danchi tribesman is being transported back to Shangjing for the Emperor to interrogate, Li Cheng Ye's henchman kills him and replaces him with a fake Danchi tribesman who will confess to killing the Crown Prince.
