Eight students at Susin High School, an elite boarding school nicknamed "Prison High", stay behind during winter break after receiving anonymous letters predicting a death. A teacher is also forced to stay with them. On the first night, psychologist Kim Yo Han, stranded by a snowstorm, joins them. Episode 1: Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas Episode 1
Seven students and their teacher remain at their empty and remote school for winter vacation. Two of the students, Moo Yul and Jae Kyu, start investigating threatening letters that all seven of them received and caused them to remain at school. On their first evening an injured man, Doctor Kim, is found and taken in; after a conversation with him Eun Sung tries to commit suicide.
Episode 2: Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas Episode 2
After her suicide attempt Eun Sung can leave the infirmary. Young Jae is attacked by another student who remained at school hidden, Mi Reu, who is later caught and confined by teacher Jong Il, while Yoon Su takes drugs and has paralysing hallucinations. Moo Yul and Jae Kyu start to understand how the letter is connected to all of them.
Episode 3: Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas Episode 3
The doctor injures his shoulder while the students discover that their teacher has disappeared. They free Mi Reu to help them examine teacher Jong Il's background. Later on the students disclose the original purpose of the threatening letters. Mi Reu who left the school to return home is buried in an avalanche while the communication system breaks down and the teacher's found dead in the snow.
Episode 4: Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas Episode 4
Mi Reu is rescued by a mysterious woman named Jung Hye. At school the students suspect Kang Mo to be connected to their teacher's death and search for him while Chi Hoon starts constructing signal rockets and discovers the identity of the threatening letters' sender. The doctor falls seriously ill but recovers in time to stop Chi Hoon from lightning his rockets.
Episode 5: Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas Episode 5
The doctor takes all students hostage. He wants to play a game with his captives and plans on questioning each of them separately. At dinner time the students try to disarm the doctor but their attempt fails. As a result Chi Hoon is taken aside and a gunshot is heard. Mi Reu and Jung Hye are on their way back to the school.
Episode 6: Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas Episode 6
Mi Reu and Jung Hye who are close to the school hear the gunshot. The students succeed in alerting Mi Reu and together manage to disarm the doctor. While the students celebrate their victory Joung Jae has a mental breakdown and seeks the doctor's presence. Choi Hoon is found alive and Moo Yul and him leave to call the police with Jung Hye's phone.
Episode 7: Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas Episode 7
The doctor is set free by Jung Hye who is one of his former patients and regains control of the situation. In the meantime Choi Hoon breaks his leg and Jae Kyu attacks Young Jae at school. The sender of the threatening letters exposes his identity. On Moo Yul and Choi Hoon's return they try to overpower Jung Hye but fall victim to Doctor Kim.
Episode 8: Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas Episode 8
The police surrounds the building and the doctor requests the students' parents. Jung Hye who was trapped by Kang Mo frees herself and brings Doctor Kim her pistol. When the police infiltrates the building two bodies fall from the school's roof. The doctor can escape and the students are brought to a hospital but later on they discover Doctor Kim and corner him on the hospital's roof.
