Freshly graduated doctor Mi Ka was at a jewellery store to purchase a gift for her parents when a jewel heist by armed robbers occurred. A special SWAT team was deployed to take control of the situation and this was how Mi Ka met Special Forces Captain Xing Ke Lei when he helped diffuse an explosive situation. However, because Xing Ke Lei was in full combat uniform and had his face masked, she did not know what he looked like. A few years later, when finalising her qualifications to be a full medical surgeon, Mi Ka decides to participate in a joint emergency rescue training exercise between her hospital & the police SWAT team and she unknowingly meets Captain Xing Ke Lei again. Episode 1: You Are My Hero Episode 1
Two years ago, medical student Mi Ka was involved in a jewelry hijacking case and was hijacked by bandits. Special police member Xing Kelei went deep into the tiger’s den to rescue. Unexpectedly, the hostage had a sudden illness. Mi Ka insisted on giving first aid to the hostage under the pressure of angering the robbers to die. Xing Kelei, who was hiding in the dark, couldn’t help but look at the girl with admiration. The police raided and the robber was killed, but the grenade that attacked the police was accidentally held in Mi Yan’s hands. Episode 2: You Are My Hero Episode 2
Mi Ka now knows that the demon lord Xing Kelei was the one who dropped her at the hospital. The whole team receives punishment of running laps as she sneaked out, she also gets extra punishment of cleaning every single toilet (Capt. Xing Kelei remembers that Mi Ka was the girl he saved 2 years ago and was being lenient with the punishments.) After cleaning them all she realises that the bathrooms are locked but Capt. Xing Kelei arrives and gives her the key asking her to clean the bathrooms too which flutters her heart. Yet during training Mi Ka is picked on by Xing Kelei and he asks her to meet him by 2pm for individual training. Mi Ka goes to meet him but receives a call from Dr Shao and runs to the the hospital to take her friend to meet the neurosurgeon. Thus, receiving expulsion, as this was her second time leaving the army base.
Episode 3: You Are My Hero Episode 3
Mi Ka got lost in the mountains and injured her foot. Hearing that Mi Ka hadn't returned, Xing Ke Lei became anxious and went to look for her. Eventually, he discovered her trail at the foot of the mountain. Xing Ke Lei finally understood Mi Ka's reasons for leaving the base without permission. Director Wei picks on Mi Ka after the incident, she is then visited by Dr Shao who asks her to train Mi Ka well. Meanwhile, Xing Kelei sends prepaid breakfast under Mi Ka's name to Neurosurgery department without Mi Ka's knowledge. Xiachao is getting better and Xing Kelei takes this opportunity to meet Mi Ka but learns of the fact that she is transferred to a different department. Xing Kelei then meets Dr Shao and speaks up for Mi Ka but is stopped mid way as Mi Ka comes in and declares that she is adjusting well in the department. He later also learns of the fact that Mi Ka didn't have any of the breakfast he sent and is flustered. Later at the hospital, an old man vomits and Mi Ka comes to his aid diagnosing carefully and correctly thus earning back Director Wei's trust and praises.
Episode 8: You Are My Hero Episode 8
A girl named Mu Mu drank insecticide and was rushed to the emergency room. Mi Ka, along with all available medical staff in the hospital, assisted in preparing the atropine.
