Episode 1: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 1

After an accident involving a factory and an old tomb, Wu Xie gets bad news about his health status. Heartbroken over his diagnosis, he returns to Wushanju with Wang Pang Zi and gives up on life. Until one day, Wang Pang Zi finds an old phone with a message from Wu Xie's missing uncle Wu San Xing. Wu Xie decides to start another adventure that might become his last one.

Episode 2: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 2

Following the lead from the guest book, Wu Xie and Wang Pang Zi make their way to an old weather station left to them by Wu San Xing. They are in for a shock when they find a skeleton but some research proves it is not Wu Xie's uncle. Wu Xie takes the dead man's cassette tapes to find out more about listening to thunder and its relation to his uncle. When faced with a blockade, he goes to visit his second uncle, Er Bai, who advises him to leave Wu San Xing alone and live a normal life. Wu Xie, who disregards his advice, travels to the dead man's home town to find out more.

Episode 3: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 3

Wu Xie and Wang Pang Zi start exploring Yang Daguang's family tomb, only to find hidden murals and another tomb filled with bronze bells and a thunder collecting device. While exploring the tomb Zhang Qi Ling joins them, completing the Iron Triangle once again. They are followed by Tang Tang, send by Wu Er Bai to keep an eye on his nephew, when suddenly a thunderstorm hits and turns the tomb into a death trap.

While Wu Xie is out with a fever, his friends go to an expert to find more about their findings from the tomb. A mysterious Mr. Jiao is revealed to be obsessed with finding the secrets behind listening to thunder. Wu Er Bai and Wu Xie strike a deal to explore the South Sea King's tomb together, with Er Bai being set on keeping his nephew out of trouble and danger-free. To help them find the entrance, Er Bai calls on the help of Liu Sang, who has exceptional hearing.

Episode 5: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 5

Wang Pang Zi and Liu Sang continue fighting and teasing each other but when their exploration of the mudflat ends in a sudden cliff in the ground, Wu Xie, Wang Pang Zi, Zhang Qi Ling and Liu Sang all get trapped below, right in the middle of the tomb they were searching for. While trying to find their way to each other, they have to face paper dolls that come to life, hallucinations of the worst kind and Liu Sang trying to get back at Wang Pang Zi.

The Iron Triangle finally makes their way back to each other after Liu Sang confesses to keeping them apart. He starts mapping out the tomb to help them find the main chamber while the others start searching for a way there directly.

Episode 7: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 7

After finding a small tunnel, the Iron Triangle is on their way to the main chamber when they are suddenly attacked. Ultimately able to escape they are shocked to find Wang Pang Zi and Zhang Qi Ling blind, forcing Wu Xie into a new kind of problem.

Episode 8: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 8

With Qi Ling and Pang Zi unable to see, Wu Xie has to take the lead and show them the way. They are forced to rely on their trust in each other and each other's abilities when suddenly chased by a horde of paper dolls. While the Iron Triangle is still trapped in the South Sea King's tomb, Hei Yan Jing visits a village of mute people to find the entrance to an underground river connected to the South Sea King and meets Chu, a feisty mute girl who visited the village with her film crew. They immediately clash with each other.

Episode 9: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 9

Through trusting in each other and their teamwork, the Iron Triangle manages to escape the paper dolls and finally they find the entrance to the main chamber. Before being able to open the chamber, Wu Xie becomes blind as well, making them believe the situation might be hopeless. When Qi Ling and Pang Zi are suddenly cured due to the light of the candle they found they are able to open the main chamber but activate an old mechanism that brings danger for Liu Sang.

Episode 10: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 10

Wu Xie listens to the tapes from the main chamber and is trapped in hallucinations again, almost killing Pang Zi but is stopped by Qi Ling and Liu Sang returning. With a sudden attack from the paper dolls and sea shell monsters, they can only count on Er Bai's help from above to escape. While the four are trying to escape, Hei Yan Jing finally finds the entrance to the underground river but Chu's brother is taken hostage to help them escape from the angry villagers. They start their rescue mission.

Episode 11: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 11

Hei Yan Jing finds clues to Wu San Xing and the reason behind the mute people in the village, after they take the priestess of the village as a "friendly" hostage. A stranger in black follows their steps. Wu Xie and the others finally manage to escape with Er Bai's help but Wu Xie almost dies while saving Liu Sang. He is saved by the female paper doll that helped them before and Zhang Qi Ling. Liu Sang makes amends with Wu Xie.

Episode 12: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 12

Wu Xie is fed up with the guessing and asks his uncle to finally tell him what he knows. Er Bai shares the story of Qi Jin, his former love, who was in love with Wu San Xing and went on an expedition of the tomb with him. Together with Wu San Xing's girlfriend and the whole 044 exploration team, they had to face multiple dangers, almost killing them and claiming multiple casualties. In the end, it was the beginning of Wu San Xing's adventure regarding the thunder listening.

Episode 13: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 13

Er Bai continues his story and the aftermath of the failed exploration when he suddenly gets an urgent call. Hei Yan Jing prepares for the hostage exchange but it goes horribly wrong when Boss Jiao and his underling Jang Zi Suan interfere. Chu gets taken as a hostage and almost set as an example to a human experiment but Hei Ye turns the tables around and takes Boss Jiao as a hostage instead. When suddenly backed into a corner, help suddenly arrives in form of Er Bai, Wu Xie and the others.

Episode 14: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 14

Wu Xie and the rest manage to get the village back. Hei Yan Jing gets hurt but starts healing under Chu's supervision. The group starts making plans to explore the underground river but Wu Xie and Pang Zi are taken out by Hei Yan Jing under Er Bai's orders who wants his nephew far away from any danger.

Episode 15: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 15

Wu Xie, Pang Zi and Liu Sang, who was tasked with taken the unconscious two to the city, are involved in a car accident by the revenge driven Jiang Zi Suan and are rescued by soldiers from a mining work camp. They soon start running out of time, when Zi Suan finds them and plans to buy them from the soldiers. While in the underground river, the exploration group find a secret map to the mysterious Thunder City but are taken hostage by Boss Jiao.

Episode 16: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 16

Pang Zi and Wu Xie start using unconventional means to escape the mining camp and almost manage to do so but Wu Xie stays behind. He strikes a deal with the boss of the soldiers and is bought out of his enslavement by Hei Yan Jing's friend. They manage to buy the soldiers' time to help them free Er Bai and the others and manage to trap Boss Jiao but Zi Suan arrives with Liu Sang and Pang Zi as hostages. Boss Jiao makes his escape. Wu Xie breaks down and Liu Sang finally reveals to everyone that Wu Xie is ill and will die soon.

Episode 17: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 17

Hei Yan Jing sends Chu to the city, letting her go, and to a doctor friend of his to maybe restore her voice. Wu Xie finds a strange metal piece inside the head of the female paper doll but she is send to the mysterious Warehouse 11 before he can inspect it. Lying to his uncle about lying low in the city, Wu Xie plans to break into Warehouse 11 with Pang Zi to find the doll.

Episode 18: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 18

Wu Xie and Wang Pang Zi break into Warehouse 11 but see themselves on a hide and seek escape from the security measures of the warehouse. Wu Xie and Pang Zi are confronted with the dangerous ruins of an old plane but Wu Xie saves Pang Zi and while trying to escape Wu Xie meets a strange girl called Bai Hao Tian who claims to be his fan and despite not helping him find the doll, helps him escape.

Episode 19: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 19

Er Bai is able to recover Pang Zi for Wu Xie but now knows that his nephew is up to no good. He tasks Er Jing with cleaning out Wushanju, forcing Wu Xie and Pang Zi to move out and find a job for themselves. While Wu Xie gets a mysterious job offer related to his uncle's disappearance from Warehouse 11, Pang Zi meets his old crush Piao Piao and her ill daughter Xiao Mei.

Episode 20: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 20

Wu Xie starts working at Warehouse 11 but is faced with most of the workers hating him for his break in stunt before. Bai Hao Tian is the only one helping him and gives him important information about the level 4 promotion he needs to be able to get more information from his online source about his missing uncle. Pang Zi rekindles his relationship with Piao Piao.

Episode 21: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 21

Wu Xie starts exploring the cursed and crying vase and finds out about a closed off sub-warehouse that was administrated by children. He starts building his theories with the help of Bai and they encounter a still alive child at the entrance to the warehouse. Pang Zi tries to help Piao Piao out but finds out about her ex-husband beating her. He enlists the help of local youths to protect her.

Still investigating the vase, Wu Xie overworks his body so it might fit through the small tunnel but he breaks down. Worried for him, Bai takes matters into her own hands and enters the tunnel into the sub-warehouse herself.

Episode 23: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 23

Bai continues exploring the sub-warehouse and finds an adult skeleton. She manages to narrowly escape the sub-warehouse and Wu Xie is finally able to close the investigation of the cursed vase. He gets promoted to Level 4 and gets another video from his online source revealing more about Wu San Xing. When he returns to Pang Zi with some goods that now belong to him, they are faced with problems when Er Bai blocked all their contacts.

Episode 24: Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Episode 24

Pang Zi is in serious money trouble when he wants to help Piao Piao and her daughter but is unable to do so due to Er Bai's blockades. When Wu Xie and Pang Zi decide to sell their goods through a minion, they are in for a shock when Piao Piao herself takes the job. Wu Xie starts investigating the next mystery of the warehouse and encounters the wandering madman Lu Chen.
