Shuji and Akira meet Nobuko and the goal to make her the most popular girl in school arises.
Episode 2: Nobuta wo Produce Episode 2
Shuuji and Akira decide that it's time to cut Nobuta's hair and make her look popular and attractive. After her uniform has been ruined by someone from the school, she comes to school dressed in clothes from fashion magazines.
Episode 3: Nobuta wo Produce Episode 3
For the school festival Shuji, Akira and Nobuko have to prepare a haunted house. With struggle, the threesome prepare their classroom but someone ruins it on purpose just before the night of the festival. However, everything ends up even better than planned.

114 - day when one student confesses his or her feelings for another student in front of the whole school. Bando forces Nobuta into confessing to Shuji on that day. But as always, something unexpected changes the situation.

The guys decide that it's about time for Nobuta to go on a date with someone. As a coincidence, one of the classmates sends Nobuta a love letter, confessing his feelings.

The threesome start to sell home made pig key chains, but it's not as easy as initially thought. On the other hand, that helps Akira and Shuji to think about future.

Akira tells Shuji that he wants to stop producing Nobuta because he (Akira) has feelings for her. Meanwhile, Nobuta and Akira join school's television club. Mariko questions Shuji's feelings for her.

Shuji seems to be having a hard time: the school sees that he's no longer having lunch with Mariko, and due to misunderstanding, everyone now thinks he would even ditch a friend in a fight. The stalker culprit is revealed.

Nobuta finds out the truth about Aoi. Shuji asks the class to help convince Nobuta to come back to school.
Episode 10: Nobuta wo Produce Episode 10
Due to his father's work, Shuji will move to another city soon. How will the threesome's story end?
