In 2017, Son Oh Gong and Ma Wang are in conflict with each other as they look for a true light in a dark world where evil thrives. Having made a contract with Seon Mi 25 years ago, entitling her to seek help from Son Oh Gong whenever she calls him in exchange for letting him free, the two meet again in a fateful encounter. From there, Son Oh Gong is bound to his protective role towards Seon Mi, the little girl he had met years ago. Episode 1: A Korean Odyssey Episode 1
Two evil male fairies tricked young Jin Sun Mi. One promised her his magical umbrella. The second promised to come to her side if she called her name. Both fairies broke their contracts. 25 years late, Sun Mi is still looking for evil fairy who broke his contract with her. When she isn't looking for him, she quietly protects people from evil ghosts and helps good ghost reach their dreams. In the first episode, she helps a young ghost girl wants to sing on stage and stops an evil ghost from killing a male driver. During her last rescue mission, she meets up with the evil fairy that tricks her. He remembers her, but she can't remember his name. A single drop of Sun Mi's blood the evil ghost goes looking for her so they could eat her. Two evil male fairies find from other evil ghosts out that the young girl they trick 25 years ago has a special gift that every evil ghost desperately wants. But those two evil fairies must decide to protect Sun Mi from the evil ghosts or take her special gift from her.
