Shin Young Joo is a female detective, a section chief with charisma, although she spends most of her time with petty criminals. She has to pay the debt of her family and often speaks harshly, but inside she has a golden heart. Lee Dong Joon is a righteous elite judge, brilliant in mind, but with a warm heart and he always has a friendly ear for those who are weak. Both work together to solve a case of corruption, involving the greatest law firm of the nation, Taebak, which turns out to be one of the biggest scandals ever.
Episode 1: Whisper Episode 1
A murder on a rainy night… Young-joo gets shocked when she sees her dad in handcuffs at the police station. Young-joo tries to gather evidence to prove Chang-ho's innocence and visits the prosecuting Judge Dong-joon. (Source: Kocowa)
Episode 2: Whisper Episode 2
Dong-joon gets married to Soo-yun through an arrangement and becomes Tae-Baek's son-in-law and attorney. Young-joo becomes Dong-joon's secretary at Tae-Baek and shows the footage from the highway on the night of the murder and asks him to investigate. Dong-joon and Young-joo try to obtain bulletproof test results that are in Soo-yun's safe. Soo-yun and Jung-il tries to find out the truth about the relationship between Dong-joon and Young-joo and tries to get chief prosecutor involved. Jung-il asks the Chief Justice to prosecute the bribery case harshly and in promises to have Dong-joon leave Tae Baek. Il-hwan feels threatened by Yoo-taek's words when he implies that if the case doesn't go smoothly, Tae-Baek will be in danger once again. Soo-yun gets summoned as a witness and Jung-il believes that there are no ties that link each other. Jung-il feels afraid when he learns that Dong-joon found out about the large loan that was given to Sang-goo. After losing his father, Jung-il conceals his emotions from Il-hwan. All the evidence gets burned and Young-joo and Jung-il find their own ways to recover Yoo Taek's body through following Tae Gon. Episode 12: Whisper Episode 12
Il-hwan is certain that Jung-il won't give up Bo Guk because of the years both companies have spent together. Jung-il opens a press conference saying that he will donate Bo Guk to the country and is determined to get back at Il-hwan. Soo-yun tries to cover from the media about Tae-gon's seizure of the company assets while Young-joo and Dong-joon are trying to let it spread. Soo-yun tries have Tae-gon take the fault for Il-hwan's to get him out of jail. But if Tae-gon takes the fault then Soo-yun is will also be incriminated as his partner in crime. Jung-il finds loopholes in the fishing area investigation case and denies the allegations which caught Young-joo and Dong-joon by surprise. But when questioned about hiring Sang-goo as a contracted murderer, he finds himself trapped.
