Bang Myeong Su, a renowned webtoon writer, pens a series about his past relationships, detailing encounters with four ex-girlfriends, including an older divorcee, a successful investment firm worker, and a third-rate actress. The webtoon divulges his romantic history and becomes a sensation, transforming Myeong Su into a mix of a heartthrob and a villain. His work is adapted into a movie. Kim Su Jin, a film producer desperate to revive her struggling company, unknowingly agrees to adapt Myeong Su's webtoon. To her shock, Myeong Su is her ex-boyfriend, and she's one of his exes featured in the story. Episode 1: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 1
Kim Soo Jin, an award winning producer, believes that she has solidified another big hit for her company, Jung In Films. However suddenly, the company CEO drove the company into debt by taking out loans, and the hit film that she secured was taken away by Shim Joo Hui, Kim Soo Jin’s old acquaintance. As a last resort, Soo Jin agrees to make her ex-boyfriend, Bang Myeong Soo’s, webtoon about his past relationship into a film. Because she originally ridiculed Myeong Soo’s work, she tries to reconcile with him. While trying to reconcile, Myeong Soo drunk dials all of his ex-girlfriends and they all come into the Jung In Films Office the following day.
Episode 2: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 2
Gathered together in Jung In Films, Myeong Soo’s ex-girlfriends, Na Ji Ah, La La and Jang Hwa Jeong, bicker with Soo Jin and Myeong about the movie production. All of ex-girlfriends then firmly establishing that they do not want the movie to be made. Nevertheless, Soo Jin continues with production and secures a large investor which Hwa Jeong works for. Despite the continual backlash from the ex-girlfriends, Soo Jin tries convincing the ex-girlfriends to consent production of webtoon again by informing them that she is also one of Myung Soo’s ex-girlfriends and their story is also hers. Myeong Soo joins the group later in the night and reveals that to him he and Soo Jin were just friends. As a result, Soo Jin furiously declares to all the women that she will make the webtoon into a movie no matter what.
Episode 3: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 3
Myeong Soo apologizes to Soo Jin for the past misunderstanding about their relationship. She brushes him off, but confronts him later on after listening to Hwa Yeong’s complaints about the script. Therefore, Myeong Soo asserts that he will write it instead of Soo Jin. While writing and revising, Myeong Soo and Soo Jin hear that Ji Ah and Ra Ra also have complaints about the script. To please them Myeong Soo decides that he will write two versions of the scripts: one for his ex-girlfriends and one for actual use. However, the plan goes array and fighting ensues as Hwa Yeong learns she was tricked by Myeong Soo.
Episode 4: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 4
All the ex-girlfriends are angry for being tricked by Myeong Soo and Soo Jin, especially Hwa Yeong. As revenge Hwa Yeong withdraws the investment for the movie, leaving Soo Jin and Myeong Soo distraught. The next day, Myeong Soo and Soo Jin try to confront Hwa Yeong about the withdrawal, but run into her fiancé, Young Jae, who works at the company instead. Young Jae, Myeong Soo and Soo Jin then eat together and Young Jae introduces them to a potential director to the film, Jo Geon. Later on, Hwa Yeong joins the group without knowing that Soo Jin and Myeong Soo were also there. Consequently, Hwa Yeong and Soo Jin come to an agreement that Hwa Yeong will not continue with the withdrawal if, Soo Jin will not reveal anything to Hwa Yeong’s fiancé. Meeting Jo Geon at a later time, Soo Jin and him run into Ra Ra and Hwa Yeong, the meeting starts a chain of lies as Hwa Yeong tries to hide her connection to Myeong Soo.
Episode 5: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 5
Myung Soo and Soo Jin are now in a sticky situation after telling Jo Geon that they are in a relationship. To avoid getting caught, Hwa Yeong gathers Myung Soo, Soo Jin, and the other ex-girlfriends to create a fake love story between them. Meanwhile, Young Jae decides to host a company picnic to strengthen each other's work relationship, Jo Geon included. As if the discord between Myung Soo and Jo Geon is not enough, Ji Ah and La La tag along the picnic in fear of something happening between Myung Soo and Soo Jin. Tensions arise during dinner as Jo Geon starts asking questions about how Hwa Yeong and La La became friends and how Myung Soo and Soo Jin met.
Episode 6: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 6
Myung Soo and the ladies are able to get away with yet another close call in the guest bedroom, but the next day they realize that Jo Geon has caught up with their lies. Worried that he might tell Young Jae everything, Hwa Yeong confronts him about his hidden motives and he demands her to tell Young Jae the truth. The ex-girlfriends device a plan to get Jo Geon to their side by seducing him with the help of La La. The plan miserably fails and Jo Geon is now planning to cancel the film after an argument with Soo Jin. However, he decides to go through with it the next morning and Hwa Yeong overhears their conversation. She tells this to the other ex-girlfriends, deducing that he likes Soo Jin, and devices another plan to confirm her theory.
Episode 7: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 7
Although, Hwa Yeong’s plan failed she does not give up trying to separate Myeong Soo and Soo Jin. To keep the movie in production, she devices another plan which inevitably ends with Myeong Soo voluntarily leaving the production while Jo Geon joins. Production of the movie proceeds, thus Soo Jin becomes increasingly busy with work. As a result, Soo Jin and Myeong Soo begin to drift apart. Meanwhile Myeong Soo goes on a vacation to find inspiration for his next project.
Episode 8: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 8
Back from his trip, Myeong Soo confess to Soo Jin in the presence of his ex-girlfriends and Jo Geon, unbeknownst to him. In response Soo Jin asserts that her and Myeong Soo are simply friends. However, later in private Myeong Soo and Soo Jin confirm their feelings for each other. They spend time together sporadically as Myeong Soo finds ways to be with Soo Jin during her hectic schedule. During one of the dates they take photos, afterwards Myeong Soo gives Soo Jin the camera’s memory card so she can access the photos. On the card she finds a video from Ji Ah affirming her love for Myeong Soo despite her upcoming marriage; this takes Soo Jin aback. Meanwhile RaRa finds out Myeong Soo and Soo Jin are dating and drops hints to the other ex-girlfriends who are not pleased about the thought. Later on at Ji Ah’s restaurant when Myeong Soo was going to officially declare that he and Soo Jin are dating, Ji Ah has a cooking accident.
Episode 9: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 9
After protecting Ji Ah from getting hurt, Myeong Soo sustains a minor injury. Because of which Soo Jin, with the video of Ji Ah confessing her love for Myeong Soo in mind, is uneasy. However, she and Myeong Soo swiftly make up and together plan to to tell the other ex-girlfriends that they are a couple. But it gets postponed again as Yeong Jae and Jo Geon interrupt with Hwa Yeong’s wedding invitations. In addition, Hwa Yeong needs the other ex-girlfriends, Soo Jin and Myeong Soo to be in her photo shoot. In the dressing room after the photo shoot, Ra Ra reveals to Hwa Yeong that Soo Jin and Myeong Soo are dating. While Hwa Yeong is congratulating the couple, Yeong Jae overhears that Hwa Yeong dated Myeong Soo and consequently storms off. Later on, Jo Geon, the ex-girlfriends, Myeong Soo, and Soo Jin sulk about their own down-turned situations as a result of Yeong Jae learning the truth.
Episode 10: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 10
After learning the truth about Hwa Yeong’s relationship with Myeong Soo, Yeong transfers Hwa Yeong to another department in the company, Jae halts the movie production, and keeps the rights to Myeong Soo’s work. Ji Ah, Ra Ra, Soo Jin, and Jo Geon try in vain to convince Yeong Jae to give Myeong Soo’s rights to the project back Yeong Jae does not budge; as a result Jung In Films closes. Meanwhile, Jo Geon helps Ra Ra land a role in a movie, and began working with Soo Jin in a new company to try to help Myeong Soo. In addition, Ji Ah begins her travels, and leaves her restaurant to Hwa Yeong.
Episode 11: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 11
After Soo Jin watches the video of Ji Ah's love confession for Myeong Soo, she starts to doubt Myeong Soo's feelings towards herself. When they go to Ji Ah's restaurant, the pan is catching fire, yet Ji Ah does not seem to notice. Ji Ah tries to pour water on the hot pan and it explodes out of the pan. Instinctively, Myeong Soo rushes and protects Ji Ah from the hot steam. He receives treatment at the hospital, and his ex-girlfriends fights with Soo Jin over guardianship. Episode 12: Ex-Girlfriend Club Episode 12
Jo Gun wants Soo Jin to work with him for a film production together with Eun Hye. Myeong Soo is against it, of course. Meanwhile, Young Jae takes Myeong Soo's work and refuses to give it back no matter how hard the ex-girlfriends, the current girlfriend, and even Jo Gun tries as it's a matter of pride.
