Episode 1: Falling for Innocence Episode 1
Described as a sociopath without a conscience, we see multiple examples of a heartless investor at work-in his refusal to risk profit to help the poor, readily taking over businesses which are indebted to him. Kang Min-ho, otherwise known as Chairman Kang’s nephew. After collecting himself from the outburst, Min-ho explains that his deceased father, who was known for his philanthropy, was charged for embezzlement after his death. Later, Dong Wook beats Min Ho up after hearing some humilating words about the workers from the companies factory that Min Ho says in his face and both of them lend in the police station. When Soon-jung attempts to convey her apologies on Dong-wook’s behalf, Min-ho sees no point in issuing his forgiveness or overlooking this incident. But like the savvy businessman he is, proposes a deal. There is one thing he does want, and when she asks what that is, Min-ho bends down and answers, “You.”
Episode 2: Falling for Innocence Episode 2
Our hapless heroine is blamed when a revenge plan goes awry, but lest we start worrying, there’s plenty of misplaced blame for everyone. Min Ho knows how little time he has left and asks Secretary Oh to get enough pain medication from the doctor to be able to leave the hospital Soon Jung brought him to. Still in the hospital, he bumps into Soon Jung who has stayed near him out of worry and announces the terms of the settlement for Dong Wook’s act of violence. This included her participation in breaking up a secret meeting of Hermias investors as she later finds out. While Dong Wook tries tracking down their missing friend who tampered with Hermia’s products, Soon Jung throws her fine fur coat in Min Ho’s face after they leave the meeting room, calling him a piece of garbage through her teeth. After some events Min Ho after yelling at Soon Jung loses his consciousness. Min Ho is rushed to the hospital, Dong Wook gets hit by a car and lies abandoned and bloody on the street.
Episode 3: Falling for Innocence Episode 3
We see Soon-jung busy drying another secretary’s tears. She shares a story about her own past blunder to cheer the secretary up about getting scolded for her manicured nails. Although Soon-jung is smiling, her white hairpin indicates that she’s still in mourning. Min-ho’s resolute businessman ways haven’t changed despite his literal new heart. He’s as determined as ever to follow through with the plans to leave Hermia and his uncle in a state of destitute. After whisking Soon-jung away from running yet another company errand, Joon-hee tells her that her unaffected attitude in the workplace has spurred gossip among the employees. She laughs at the “pretentious smile” nickname, remarking offhandedly that putting on a smile is better than crying.
Episode 4: Falling for Innocence Episode 4
Tensions abound when our heroine gets recruited as Min Ho’s personal secretary. Soon Jung can't take one step without getting herself into trouble this hour. While Chairman Kang and Joon Hee prepare for the worst now that Min Ho is a delegate board member for Hermia, Min Ho prepares for his first board meeting with a snazzy new haircut. After a meeting, Min Ho runs into Soon Jung and feels his heart start to beat rapidly again. But he still doesn't make the connection. Soon Jung accepts all his orders without blinking, only to chase after him as he prepares to leave the office. He’s so absorbed in what he’s doing that he doesn't pay attention, and ends up accidentally slamming the car door on Soon Jung’s fingers, she straightens up to give Min Ho what she was originally chasing him for. But his expression takes her by surprise—he’s crying, and he doesn't know why.b“You’re the one who’s hurt, so why am I crying?” he asks.
Episode 5: Falling for Innocence Episode 5
Although Chairman Kang agrees to consider his misgivings against Soon-jung as a misunderstanding, he doesn’t quite understand Min-ho’s behavior in this matter. A representative of said department store wishes to meet with the Hermia chairman. Imagine Chairman Kang’s surprise when that meeting is with none other than Min-ho and Ji-hyun, because Gold Partners recently partnered up with the conglomerate that owns that department store. He’s told that this place used to be Soon-jung and her late fiance’s dream home. He’s surprised to hear the belated news that Soon-jung’s detective fiance had died in a fatal hit-and-run accident.
Episode 6: Falling for Innocence Episode 6
Our hero finally learns that his new heart may be the source of all his palpitating woes, but that does little in the way of sweetening up his sour side, which comes into full force this hour. We begin in a flashback of Joon Hee’s childhood In voiceover, he narrates how he was always afraid to talk to her even when he wanted to Joon Hee’s voiceover continues: “Soon Jung, what is this ominous feeling that I may be one step behind again?” Chairman Kang’s wife, Madam Min, asks Soon Jung to do a task in secret for her and the chairman—it’s the only way to save her husband and her children.On Ji Hyun’s advice, Min Ho and Secretary Oh follow Soon Jung in secret. She enters the hospital with a masked person at her side, and Min Ho follows her all the way up to the top level… where Chairman Kang is staying as a patient. Min Ho forces his way past Soon Jung and inside, passing soiled adult diapers to get to the private bathroom.
Episode 7: Falling for Innocence Episode 7
With other people pulling the strings of his own revenge, Min Ho finally has the time to sit with his emotions and begin to examine the reasons behind his literal change of heart. After the death of Min Ho's uncle as the days progress, Soon Jung sends text messages about upcoming interviews and dealings at the office while Min Ho spends his days lazing about at home without sending a reply. After some time Min ho asks Soon Jung visit his parents grave with him where a situation occurs where they are captured inside a car and talk. Soon Jung says it still isn't too late for him to start leading a better life, one that isn't disgraceful. Those words affect him, and Min Ho says there’s something he hasn't told her yet. Soon Jung asks what that is, and Min Ho turns to her to say, “I like you".
Episode 8: Falling for Innocence Episode 8
Big changes are in store for our hero this hour, as he realizes that the head and heart aren’t as disjointed as he'd originally thought they were—transplant or no transplant. He also figures out (with a lot of outside help and counseling) that he can actually decide the course of his own life, and that seems to come as a shock to him. But at least now he can start making a difference doing what he believes in. Min Ho again skips out on his meeting with the CEO of Gold Partners because he’s had a change of heart, and shows up to crash Joon Hee’s board meeting instead. What’s up for vote is Joon Hee’s candidacy for CEO, since it hasn't been made official through a ceremony yet. Currently he’s the only candidate, at least until Min Ho submits his own name.
Episode 9: Falling for Innocence Episode 9
Min Ho’s eyes grow wide when Papa Ma points out that his son had the same lollipop-sucking habit. The revelation that his new heart once literally belonged to Dong Wook triggers another round of heart palpitations. He decides upon the rational approach in keeping things strictly business with Soon Jung until he can ascertain the truth. However this knowledge does sadden him somewhat, because he considered these feelings for her special and precious to him. Ji Hyun presents Joon Hee with a revised plan that will accelerate Hermia’s bankruptcy. We don't get to see what that is, but it requires Joon Hee to get hustlin’.
Episode 10: Falling for Innocence Episode 10
In order to get a loan to fund the development of Hermia’s new product, Min Ho has to put up most of his earthly possessions as collateral. Soon Jung takes the walk home to sort through her conflicting feelings for Min Ho, trying to discern whether she likes him as a man or just respects him as her superior. Joon Hee paying a shady dude to keep tabs on Noh Hyung-nim now that he’s awake. Ok Hyun and her band of detectives raid Joon Hee’s father’s house, but find him lying dead.
Episode 11: Falling for Innocence Episode 11
The New Product production comes to an abrupt halt when one of their major suppliers suddenly pulls out. Soon Jung and Min Ho head over to speak with the headman, and when reason doesn’t work, Min Ho asks outright if this was Joon Hee’s doing. Was it a bribe or a threat? Seeing as they'll have to wait for their contact for at least a few hours, Min Ho and Soon Jung take a walk around the gardens. It’s a nice break from their hectic schedules, and Min Ho notes that despite all the traveling he did, it was all about work. Joon Hee’s eyes grow wide when he looks inside the envelope regarding Min Ho’s organ donor… and sees Dong Wook’s photo and name on the documentation.
Episode 12: Falling for Innocence Episode 12
Min Ho is painfully reminded of the truth in Joon Hee’s words about him being a victim of a system that he once perpetuated. During the next day’s meeting, Joon Hee tries his best to act surprised when Min Ho reveals that he doesn't have the funds to repay him. ust then Soon Jung receives a call to the office, Madam Jang announces that she’s now taking over the New Product project. He and Ji Hyun make it their new job to find out why Madam Jang is helping Min Ho and how they can put a stop to it. Joon Hee and Min Ho exchange some passive aggressive fighting words about his good luck in the bathroom, but the atmosphere changes completely when Min Ho recognizes the fish watch he’s wearing and seizes his arm. “Was it you?” he asks incredulously. “You killed Ma Dong Wook, didn't you?”
Episode 13: Falling for Innocence Episode 13
Joon Hee asks Soon Jung to examine why she fell for a man she used to hate so quickly, and has an answer at the ready: that Soon-jung could sense vibes of Dong Wook from Min Ho. She can’t deny that the thought hadn’t crossed her mind. Min-ho requests an increase of the down payment to twenty percent in cash instead. What Min-ho doesn’t know is that the prospective distributor is just a paper company set up by Joon-hee. Pouring funds in now will speed up production, then they’ll do away with the paper company, Joon-hee argues. By the time Hermia needs to pay up, the company will be facing an additional loan along with their unpaid bonds. And that’s how Hermia will potentially fall. By the night time Min Ho is waiting at the top of the steps by when Soon Jung trudges home. She can barely bring herself to look at him and flatly accepts Min-ho’s lie that Secretary Oh had to go to the hospital. She refuses all of Min-ho’s attempts to cheer her up or show concern for her.
