The drama aims to comically and candidly portray the reality and undying pursuit of the romance of a thirty-something single woman. It also highlights the life and work of women in their thirties through Dal Ja, a 33-year-old talented managing director at a home shopping channel, who finds herself at a crossroads of whether to remain single or get married before she gets older. Tae Bong, a hunk six years younger than Dal Ja, works as a substitute date and becomes Dal Ja's fake boyfriend. Gi Jung is the type who dreams of an ideal and rational courtship. The love triangle of Dal Ja, Tae Bong, and Gi Jung brews conflicts over love versus marriage.
Episode 1: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 1
Dal Ja has never been in a relationship before and is naive when it comes to dating. She starts to go out with Sae Do. Her friend tells her he's a player but Dal Ja doesn't want to believe it even when he starts ignoring her. Christmas Eve night she gets run into by this guy, Tae Bong, who breaks her cell phone frame. To repay her he gives her a card and tells her if she's ever in need of a fake boyfriend to call. Later that night she catches Sae Do on a date with a coworker, and calls Tae Bong
Episode 2: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 2
Tae Bong arrives at Dal Ja's office to remind her of a contract she made while she was drunk. The contract involves him being her boyfriend for a month in order to get her revenge on Sae Do and it cost $3000. Having no way to get her money back, she takes him up on this deal and tries to make him the "perfect" boyfriend - only for it to backfire on her. In the end she decides to make friends with Sae Do and tells Tae Bong she doesn't need him anymore.
Episode 3: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 3
Dal Ja meets the "man of her dreams" her "destined one," Uhm Gi Joong. He comes to work at her company. Except he misunderstands her relationship not only with Tae Bong, but with Sae Do. Determined to find a way to make him see her, Dal Ja tries to straighten things out when Sae Do gets overly drunk on cocktails and throws up all over her clothes. Stuck in a bathroom she calls Tae Bong to bring her some clothes.
Episode 4: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 4
Dal Ja goes on a date with Uhm Gi Joong. Tae Bong helped prepare her for her date. While talking with her friend, her friend asks her if she's thought about whether Uhm Gi Joong might be married. Dal Ja doesn't think the idea is possible - and then a girl comes in and slaps her. But it turns out the girl was talking about Sae Do. Sae Do is hung up on Seon Joo. Uhm Gi Joong misunderstands the whole situation.
Episode 5: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 5
Uhm Gi Joong's wife comes to find Dal Ja. The two have been separated for 2 years but the wife cannot get over her husband. Dal Ja doesn't want to be involved in adultery and never thought she'd be this type of woman. Despite saying this, the wife starts to cause trouble for Dal Ja, hoping to get her away from Uhm Gi Joong.
Episode 6: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 6
Uhm Gi Joong's wife threatens to commit suicide unless Dal Ja resigns her position at her job. His wife faints and collapses on top of Dal Ja. Dal Ja decides to let Uhm Gi Joong go - she will not be with a married man. Tae Bong gets caught - and the old guy turns out to be his grandfather who asks him to come work for him. Which Tae Bong continuously refuses. He gets brought back to his home.
Episode 7: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 7
Dal Ja goes kneels down to beg to not be dismissed from the company. So they transfer her to the Customer Support section. There she meets the "wicked witch" team manager who hates her upon sight. She continues to pile work upon work upon Dal Ja. Dal Ja works hard and does her best. Then there's a snow storm. Dal Ja is with Tae Bong and the two wind up spending the night together.
Episode 8: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 8
Tae Bong comes and stops Dal Ja from answering Uhm Gi Joong's question "will you date me again" - and then proceeds to tell her she should think of herself and there was no meaning behind it. Dal Ja binges on food and starts to make herself go on a diet. Tae Bong's mother comes to interfere with his life. Dal Ja walks out on Uhm Gi Joong at his house and confesses something to Tae Bong.
Episode 9: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 9
Tae Bong wants to make a deal with Dal Ja - be his girlfriend for a month and if they develop feelings for each other then they will officially date. Dal Ja turns him down stating she could never date someone younger than her. Having no where else to live at the moment, Tae Bong decides to stay with her despite her attempts to kick him out. Uhm Gi Joong also starts to make moves to show how much he likes Dal Ja.
Episode 10: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 10
Uhm Gi Joong finds out that Tae Bong is staying with Dal Ja. Dal Ja sets rules for Tae Bong to follow. The Team Manager's son is put under an operation for acute Appendicitis - but she refuses to leave her job for family matters. After realizing that she's not focusing on her work, Dal Ja helps give her the push she needs to go to the hospital to see her son.
Episode 11: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 11
Dal Ja gets her old job back and upon leaving Customer Support - speaks her mind to the Team Manager. And then when she gets back to her old office, finds out the Team Manager will now be in charge there. Dal Ja's grandmother learns that she's living with a man and questions Tae Bong about it. Seon Joo almost quits her job when she's told to not only work with a new co-host but to sell something that isn't fashion, but Sae Do and Dal Ja convince her to stay.
Episode 12: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 12
Seon Joo meets competition when Hong Ji Hee tries to steal the spotlight on her show. Ji Hee wants to be in the spotlight, and Seon Joo tries to tell her how she should act if she wants to show she wants the job. Dal Ja discovers who Hee Yeon is by following Tae Bong. She's having mixed feelings about what she should do. Tae Bong opens up about part of his past.
Episode 13: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 13
Dal Ja begins to feel attracted towards Tae Bong - but doesn't understand it at first. The feelings are new to her. Tae Bong's mother comes to find out information about Dal Ja at her company - and is found by her sister-in-law, The Team Manager. Seon Joo takes a pregnancy test and it comes out positive - and decides to keep it to herself. Dal Ja says goodbye to Uhm Gi Joong and apologizes for not sharing the same feelings.
Episode 14: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 14
Dal Ja runs into Seon Joo at the hospital. As she learns what Seon Joo plans on doing she immediately tells her to tell Sae Do. Soo Jin went into early labor but managed to stay alive and keep her baby. Uhm Gi Joong's wife starts coming around him. Dal Ja and Tae Bong get closer and celebrate his birthday. Sae Do is having trouble understanding the situation he's in.
Episode 15: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 15
Dal Ja and Tae Bong go all the way - and it leaves Dal Ja having confused emotions and scared, so she tries to play cool and act like nothing happened. Seon Joo gets ready to go for her operation and Sae Do and Dal Ja show up to stop her after she's already left the room. Dal Ja goes on a real date with Tae Bong and Sae Do goes on a real date with Seon Joo.
Episode 16: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 16
Dal Ja's mother finds out that Tae Bong is living with her and the two have a relationship. Neither his mother or her mother accept the situation, so the two work together to get their parents to change their mind. Sae Do discovers that Seon Joo did not have the operation and is still pregnant.
Episode 17: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 17
Tae Bong's mother makes an embarrassment out of herself at Dal Ja's office. Dal Ja and Tae Bong scheme to make the parents change their minds. Dal Ja follows Tae Bong's mother around, Tae Bong follows her mother around. And then when it doesn't work - they took a vacation together. Sae Do gets an offer to study abroad. Tae Bong meets his old boss at the law firm and is invited to his birthday party.
Episode 18: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 18
Tae Bong brings Dal Ja to the birthday party - and meets his first love there. He gets a new job as a worker at a construction site and Dal Ja feels he's overworking himself when he doesn't have to. Sae Do makes another proposal to Seon Joo. Tae Bong's father moves back in with his wife. Tae Bong's mother gives Dal Ja money to take care of Tae Bong.
Episode 19: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 19
Tae Bong gets in an accident on the job. After mistaking someone else's casted body for his Dal Ja knows for sure she really loves him. After having a talk with his father, Tae Bong decides that he needs to put his dreams on hold for a while and goes back to the law firm so he can be with Dal Ja. Seon Joo tells Sae Do to not come around for a week. Thinking she's with another man he doesn't listen - and meets her father who wants to kill him.
Episode 20: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 20
Dal Ja's mother starts pressuring Dal Ja about marriage - while Tae Bong's mother says to not bring the subject up. Tae Bong starts work at the law firm and is working with Soo Jin, who still has feelings for him. When Dal Ja sees Tae Bong involved with the merger business she starts to fall into a feeling of being left out. And while she's waiting to hear that one phrase from him, Tae Bong is unknowing. Seon Joo's father begins to accept Sae Do.
Episode 21: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 21
Dal Ja breaks it off with Tae Bong because she lacks confidence in herself. She has a hard time dealing with it. Sae Do turned down the offer to study abroad and the Team Manager asks Dal Ja if she would like to go. After running into Tae Bong while she was out with Uhm Gi Joong, she decides to take up the offer. The parents try to get them to talk about marriage again. Sae Do moves next door to Seon Joo.
Episode 22: Dal Ja's Spring Episode 22
Dal Ja left for America and Tae Bong decides to wait for her to come back. 2 years later he's still waiting for "fate" to come his way again. Seon Joo becomes a mom and her and Sae Do named the child Dong Yi. Dal Ja returns to Seoul and crosses paths with Tae Bong again.
