News gets out that the government is planning to release more permits to run casinos in Jeju-do. President Choi Do Hwan is lobbying a politician to take advantage of the situation. While trying to protect his boss from members of a Vietnamese gang, In Ha is wounded by gunshot and rumours spread that he’s been killed. Soo Yeon starts working at Joongmun Hotel after the acquisition in order to get busy and forget about In Ha. After a conversation with Tae Jun, In Ha starts to doubt the tight friendship he once thought he shared with Jung Won. While the business selection process is underway, more suspicion regarding the source of Michael Jang’s funds starts to grow by various parties, including the management of Sea World Hotel. Meanwhile, Dae Su and his men attempt to kill In Ha and Jong Gu, but ultimately fail. Jung Ae tells Hyun Ja her plans to marry Lim Dae Su, which leaves her furious.
