Lee Hyun Wook is the composer and producer of an entertainment company. After losing his girlfriend in an accident, he then meets and falls in love with his girlfriend's younger sister, Yoon Se Na, who dreams of becoming a music producer.
Episode 1: My Lovely Girl Episode 1
At the start of the series Lee Hyun Wook is presented as a songwriter loses his girlfriend, Yoon So Eun, in a car accident. 3 years have passed since the incident, Yoon Se Na has come to Seoul and meets Lee Hyun Wook, who still finds it hard to move on.
Episode 2: My Lovely Girl Episode 2
Se Na is chased by thugs and ends up quitting her part-time job. Hyeon Wook finds out and offers her a part-time job looking after his pet, Dal Bong. Hyeon Wook goes away to the beach with Se Na and Dal Bong and learns from Hae Yun that his father, CEO Lee has collapsed. (Source: Kocowa)

After the scandal, Shi Woo doesn't get in touch with anyone except Se Na. Hyeon Wook gets in touch with Shi Woo through Se Na and makes him a surprising offer. Se Na's love for Hyeon Wook grows and she tries to find out how he feels. He in turn is mesmerized by Se Na's actions but does his best to hide it. Hyeon Wook asks Se Na to be his pet-sitter again because Dal Bong's illness is getting worse. Shi Woo wants to go watch fireworks and drags Se Na away in the middle of her pet-sitter job with Hyeon Wook standing right in front of them. (Source: Kocowa)

Se Na confesses to Hyeon Wook that she likes him, even though he's been avoiding her after the kiss. But Hyeon Wook says they can't do anything more and draws the line. Shi Woo believes that Se Na was fired from the company because of him and offers her to arrange the song that he'll go on TV with. They go to see Hyeon Wook to ask for permission to work on the song at ANA. Se Na becomes angry at the way Hyeon Wook acts cold to her and goes to see him at his house. Shi Woo successfully completes his performance with Se Na and asks her to celebrate with him but she refuses and goes to meet Hyeon Wook. Jae Young offers Se Na a proper contract as she's working as a freelancer. However when Se Na doesn't seem to excited by it she claims that she's close with So Eun and calls her to where So Eun worked. With his health failing, CEO Lee goes to Hyeon Wook and apologizes for what happened with So Eun in the past and asks him to take care of the company. Shi Woo appears on a radio program and confesses that he has a crush on someone. The photo of him and Se Na at the hospital goes public and the two get caught up in a scandal. ANA prepares to publically announce that the two are dating. Sung Jin pities Hyeon Wook who gives up on Se Na and is trying to let her go to Shi Woo. Se Na goes to Shi Woo to reject his proposal. Shi Woo realizes that she's seeing Hyeon Wook again and tells her that he will continue to like her. Jae Young request CEO Lee for help because he's out of funding but CEO Lee rejects him. In anger he reveals that Hyeon Wook is meeting Se Na who is So Eun's sister.
